Decorating Your Outdoor Living Space for the Holidays
A Few Decorating Tips
1. Choose a focal point. An outdoor fireplace or patio fire pit is perfect for adding holiday color. Christmas lights bring warmth and cheer. Properly placed, they also accentuate the hardscape features of your outdoor living space.
2. Think green. Add plenty of garland – frame a fireplace, place around a fire pit and drape over walls to bring a festive flair to your outdoor space. If you have a fir tree decorate it. If you don’t, setup an outdoor tree as part of your outdoor focal point.
3. Safety first. Use lights labeled with the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) seal of approval and make sure they’re rated for outdoor use. When placing outdoor heaters be careful to have a least three feet clearance on all sides.
